State-of-the-Art Testing

Nondestructive testing (NDT)

Atnu foundry offers complete in-house nondestructive examination and testing with a highly qualified staff of experienced testing inspectors who have ASNT Level II or SNT-TC-1A Level III certifications.

Capabilities include:
1. Radiographic testing (outsourced with competent sub contractors) or a Cobalt 60 source for materials up to six inches thick
2. Magnetic particle inspection – wet fluorescent method
3. Liquid penetrant inspection – water washable visible dye method

Chemical & Metallurgical Testing
Our advanced testing facilities are equipped to perform chemical and mechanical properties testing as well as corrosion and metallographic inspections.

We utilize a wide variety of state-of-the-art testing processes, including:
